ISEA2008
ISEA, starptautiskais elektroniskās mākslas simpozijs, notiek reizi divos gados dažādās pasaules pilsētās un 2008. gadā tas notiks Singapūrā no 25. jūlija līdz 3. augustam. Festivāla ietvaros norisināsies starptautiska konferenču programma, izstāde un dažādi sadarbības pasākumi.

ISEA, the International Symposium on Electronic Art initiated in 1988, is the world's premier media arts event for the critical discussion and showcase of creative productions applying new technologies in interactive and digital media. Held biannually in various cities throughout the world, this migratory event is being held in Asia for the second time in its history from July 25 t August 3rd, after Singapore successfully secured this bid.
This symposium consists of three aspects of peer reviewed conference, internationally juried exhibition and various in-conjunction and partner events.

Starptautiskais video festivāls Guerilla Video Festival notiks Milānā no 12. līdz 14. jūlijam. Festivāls cenšas publiku iesaistīt publiskajā telpā, ienesot mākslu sabiedriskajā vidē. Mākslinieki festivāla ietvaros veidos darbus atbilstoši katras vietas specifiskajiem apstākļiem un arhitektūrai, tādējādi piešķirot telpai jaunas identitātes slāni.

International Guerrilla Video Festival
The International Guerrilla Video Festival Milan 2008 will be held 12-14 July. The IGVFest engages the public on public territory, integrating art with the social environment while liberating video from the confinement of the 'black box'. The festival collaborates with artists to create work specifically focused on the conditions at each site, approaching each site as a confluence of actors including visible and invisible boundaries, the effect of past and present migrations, physical infrastructure and architecture, and the nodes of exchange present. The site itself becomes an integral part of the presentation as its particular characteristics shape the context of the art while the videos add another layer of identity to the space.

BODY NAVIGATION ir mākslu starpdisciplīnu festivāls, kurā tiks aplūkots ķermenis kā medijs laikmetīgajā mākslā. Mākslinieki no visas pasaules pievērsīsies multi-mediju pētījumiem par ķermeni un tā mijiedarbību ar vidi. Šī gada festivāls pievērsšies jautājumam par ķermeņa priekšstata veidošanos jauno informācijas tehnoloģiju ietekmē. Festivāla norises vietas būs gan Sankt Pēterburgas pilsētas vide, gan teātri un mūzikas klubi. Kopumā festivāla ietvaros notiks dažādi izpētes projekti, radošās darbnīcas, brīvdabas performances, audiovizuālās performances un video demonsrēšanas.

BODY NAVIGATION
BODY NAVIGATION is a cross-art festival for research the body as a medium for contemporary arts. Festival program provides collaboration with people coming from different cultural contexts, based on shared specific questions of the body and environment, and their multi-media exploration. This year festival focuses on the issue of the perception of the body by new information technologies. Projects focuses on the integrated body and its medial "embodiment" in dance performances, installations, or performances. The transposition is using suitable interfaces and software (f.i. camera motion sensing-systems), which allow for the real time inter/action/exploration of physical movement with audio/visual processes.
Festival will navigate from the urban environments of St.Petersburg and Kronshtadt to the theatre and musical club spaces. Festival events include research projects and workshops, in and outdoor performances, audiovisual performances and screenings.

"Tuned City - starp skaņas un telpas spekulāciju" ir izstāde un konferences projekts, kas notiks no 1. līdz 5. jūlijam, 2008 Berlīnē, piedāvājot jaunu telpas arhitektūras vērtējumu no akustiskā perspektīvas. Konferencē notiks diskusijas par pilsētas arhitektūru skaņu mākslas konteksā. 5 dienu programmu papildinās radošās darbnīcas un performanču programma.

Tuned City
Tuned City - Between sound and space speculation is an exhibition and
conference project planned for July 01.-05. 2008 in Berlin which
proposes a new evaluation of architectural spaces from the perspective
of the acoustic. The project draws the traditions of critical discussion about urban
space within the architecture and urban planning discourseas well as
its strategies and working methodsinto the context of sound art. This
expanded discussion reinforces the potential of the spatial and
communicative properties of sound as a tool and means of urban practice. The five days will be accompanied by a dense workshop programme and a
performance programme corresponding with the individual topics.
